[2025] "Setomono Matsuri" Access & Parking Guide

The venue is centered around Owari Seto Station on the Meitetsu Seto Line, and stretches for about 500 meters along the Seto River that flows in front of the station.

Traffic restrictions will be in place in various places in the surrounding area, so the best place to get to is Owari Seto Station on the Meitetsu Seto Line. Once you get off the station, it's a 0-minute walk from the venue, so it's very convenient.

However, I think many people will be coming by car, so I would like to explain about parking.

Here is the official guide map. Parking lots are generally located more than 1km away from the main venue. There is Parking Lot No. 8, but there are some that are "too far away (lol)," so we will introduce some local recommendations, including some that are not included here.

Please note that the special parking lot is open from 8:30am to 8pm!

Parking lot introduction

[No. 1 in proximity to the main venue and the lively atmosphere]
◉ Former Fukagawa Elementary School (800m from Owari Seto Station / 250 spaces)
Address: 52 Miyawaki-cho, Seto City
It looks like it will be crowded, but it is close to Fukagawa Shrine in the center of town, and although it is a little far from the station, it seems to be right next to the main venue.
*Please note that it cannot be used in rainy weather.

[Recommended from Tajimi and Kasugai]
◉ Kamagami Ground (800m from Owari Seto Station / 400 spaces)

Address: 30-1 Higashiandocho, Seto City
There is a parking lot near the mine, and on the way to the festival site you pass through a residential area. If you have time, be sure to also visit Kamagami Shrine, dedicated to Tamikichi Kato, the "god of kilns" who is the inspiration behind the Ceramics Festival.

(A clever idea. Using the train)
◉ Seto City Hall (1.3km from Owari Seto Station)

Address: 64-1 Oiwakecho, Seto City
Park at Seto City Hall, the next station from Owari Seto Station, and head from Seto City Hall Station to Owari Seto Station.

[Recommended from Hishino Danchi and Toyota areas]
Cultural Center (900m from Owari Seto Station / 420 spaces)

Address: 113-3 Nishiibaracho, Seto City
There is a large, stable parking lot where you can be sure you will find a spot. The road to the venue is a bit steep with some ups and downs.

[For those who want to visit the Kakibora area, where the scenery typical of a pottery production area remains]
◉ Kamagaki Path Parking Lot (1.5km from Owari Seto Station / 30 spaces)

Address: 8 Nakahoracho, Seto City
It's likely that the spots will fill up quickly, but if you find one available, you're in luck.
*Please note that it closes in the evening.

◉ Toso Park (1.2km from Owari Seto Station / 40 spaces? )
Address: 42 Fujishirocho, Seto City
The parking lot is on top of a small hill. It's not very convenient, but if you're having trouble finding a place to park, this is a good option.
